What decides your fare
Five things move the number, and none of them are hidden from you. Ask about any of them on the confirmation call.
Type of ambulance
A basic transfer unit and a full ICU on wheels are not the same vehicle. The unit you need is the single biggest part of the fare.
Medical equipment on board
Ventilator, incubator, defibrillator, monitor, oxygen — every piece that travels with the patient is part of what you are paying for.
Distance travelled
A flat starting fare covers the trip inside one district. Beyond that we charge per kilometre, both ways on a round trip.
Level of medical support
A driver and a helper cost less than a paramedic team. Critical patients travel with trained staff, and that is priced in.
Waiting and standby time
Long waits at admission, discharge paperwork or a scheduled standby at an event are billed on top of the trip fare.

How is the ambulance fare calculated?
Each ambulance type has a starting fare that covers a trip inside one district. Beyond that we add a per-kilometre charge for the distance, and a round trip is charged at roughly 1.8 times the single-trip fare because the return leg is discounted. Waiting time, tolls and extra oxygen are added only when they actually apply.
Is the calculated amount the final price?
No. The calculator works from district-to-district distance, so it gives you a realistic range rather than an exact bill. The final fare is confirmed by our dispatch team once they know the exact pick-up address, the patient's condition and the equipment needed — and it is confirmed before the ambulance leaves.
Why is a round trip cheaper than two single trips?
On a round trip the ambulance is already with you, so there is no second dispatch and no empty approach run. We pass that saving on, which is why a round trip is billed at about 1.8 times a single trip instead of double.
How much does an ICU ambulance cost in Bangladesh?
An ICU ambulance carries a ventilator, monitor and trained crew, so it starts higher than a BLS or AC unit and adds a higher per-kilometre rate for long-distance transfers. Enter your two districts in the calculator above for an indicative range, then call the hotline for the confirmed fare.
How is the air ambulance fare decided?
Air ambulance is chartered per flight. The aircraft, the route, landing permissions, the medical escort and the ground ambulance at both ends all feed into the cost, so we quote it case by case instead of using a per-kilometre rate.
Do I have to pay in advance?
No advance is needed to book. Tell us where the patient is, confirm the fare on the call, and settle it at the end of the trip. For long-distance and air transfers our team explains the payment terms while confirming the booking.
